Helen Kennedy

I am a registered Homeopath with the NZ Council of Homeopaths. I also hold an Executive position on the board of the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths.

Homeopathy changed my life in 1987 when I was suffering from exhaustion and hormonal issues relating to the birth of my 2nd child. I could not believe how 3 small pillules could be so incredibly powerful, changing not only my mental state of mind but my emotional and most importantly my physical state. I went from a tearful exhausted mother to my usual vibrant energetic self, in less than a week. That experience made me determined to one day study and understand this fantastic medicine and my dream was fulfilled  when I attended the Australian College of Natural Medicine in Brisbane, for 4 years full time, attaining a Bachelor of Health Science – Homeopathy.

I moved to Christchurch in 2006 and have been treating people with Homeopathy ever since.  My determination is to increase public awareness of Homeopathy and it's curative and healing ability by educating people on the power of this medicine. Being part of the team at the Homeopathy Centre enables me to fulfill my life's dream. I particularly love treating children – they are so open and honest with their words or gestures, a Homeopath can gain a lot of information from observing this.

When I lived in Hong Kong for 4 years I trained as a massage therapist (1989) and over the years I have added Reiki, and Australian Bush Flower Essences to my learning which I incorporate into my practice. My passion is Homeopathy/healing and wherever possible I do my best to make someone else's life better, bringing a sense of calm, well being and renewed vitality through health.
